Have you ever wonder how "profitable" a skin doctor can earn a day... ?
I went to see a skin doctor at Tampines yesterday night. Recommended by Tzi Khee. She warn me of the crowd i will see at the clinic. True enough, there is a quene even the clinic was close from 4.30pm to 7.00pm. Reach at about 6.50pm. And you guess, what is my q no. No. 30. Oh Mine God. (Shock 1)
(Shock 2) Luckily TK warm mi that i need to wait for very long, really very long... The time i c a doctor, Dr Ong was 10.30PM. Not kidding.... Really i waited... "Bo bian"
Wondering what so amazing about the doctor? or the medication or those facial product?
I paid S$ 145.50 for the first trip. Got to go there 3 weeks later. So last night mention to TK that next time we go together in the early morning so we won't get bore.
After my number 30, there is still 4 people. If your count the no. of ppl who see her... 30 X S$100 = S$ 3000 exclude those who come and take/buy facial product. WOW.
Anyway, hope to see improvement on my face!!! That is the most important.

"Luo Hei" @ Service Marketing Class with Samuel

Kind of surprise that on the last day of Chinese New Year, our SM Lecturer is having a 'luo hei' at class. So he went to centrepoint, one of the store to buy "yu sheng". Before "luo hei" he still want us to say 4 letter word to him, if not CANT eat. He is just just joking.... haha.... Yes, and all of us say it.

New Year Photo (Part 2)
Finally manage to get the softcopy of "Chu Yi" photo taken at GM house from Suyin. Met her on last sat to develop photo at Rivervale Mall(Somewhere near SengKang)... The shop auntie very "concern" about how we used the machine and keep asking my cousin to hurry up. But, THERE IS NO ONE Quenuing and we have 1 thumbdrive and 3 CDs. Strange...

Bad Service i had from Orchard Hotel Reservation (Part 2)

First of all my sincere apology for all the inconvenience cause to you.
As there is a minimum length of stay restriction due to peak travel
period thus you are unable to amend the reservations from the websites.
We have already take note of the changes and the reservations have been
amended. Attached is the hotel confirmation letter for your kind
attention.
And we will also like to thank you for your feedback with regards to the
invalid contact number. We are looking into this .
Once again sorry for any inconvenience cause and we look forward to your

So i return with a email after knowing that it is the service personnel fault that they did not know the restriction and make a mess of my call:
Dear Linda,
Thank you for your confirmation.
This is the first time i put my guest in Orchard Hotel, but i have unpleasant experience of how the reservation personnel handle my call.
As you have indicate in below email, i could not make any amendments from the website. I spoke with Miss Carol in my first call, and she insist that she could not do anything at her side to help me shorthen my guest stay. Reasons is because i make the reservation online. And she insist that i could make the amendment on the website. She seems unhelpful when i ask her where can i make the changes as she could not do it at her side. She mention to me that i could change it as it is very "logical" for me to find the link. I believe this restriction is made known to every person in the reservation dept.
As i could not get the things done, i contact reservation again and spoke
with Lorita. She help me make the changes at her side but also want me to make the changes online. I did mention to her my difficulties and attach a printscreen for her reference.
I am not please by how the two reserveration personnel handle my call and
are unhelpful. I hope that this is not the kind of service my guest will receive when he visit the hotel. Kindly look into it.

See do you see that! Luckily, there is still someone who bother about the image of the hotel and the welfare of the guest.
Zhenru say i am complaining here and there, and next time i will meet with such a demanding customer. But really the answer given by the 2 service personnel was really bad. How can they not aware of the restriction of their hotel.

Bad Service i had from Orchard Hotel Reservation (Part 1)
Guys, can you let me know or what you think when i tell you that i am putting my guest at Orchard Hotel Singapore... I believe, there will be WOW kind of expression right. It is a 4 to 5 star hotel. This is what i believe so till today. I am shock by how the reservation answering my question! I call twice.
Story goes...
Call the hotel mail line,
Mi: hello, can you put mi to reservation.
Front desk: ok sure, hold on while i transfer your call.
Reservation person 1: hello, reservation.
Mi: (mentioning my case) i like to shorthen the days for my guest. I have book the stay online. So can you change it here.
Reservation person 1: ok, so can i have the guest name and confirmation number.
Mi: sure.....(give the details)
Reservation person 1: hold on while i check
She took a longgg time about 5 mins....
Reservation person 1: sorry, i am not sure about it, i pass you to my collegue.
Mi: ok, what is her name?
Reservation person 1: Carol, she is incharge for online reservation
Mi: Hello, is that Carol. ( then mention the case over to her again)
Carol: Oh, i could not help you to do the change if you book online. You have to do it yourself. (Shock no.1)
Mi: so, how do i do it, i am now at your website. where do i go?
Carol: just go to the website, then there is a button
Mi: i am now at your website, can you let me know
Carol: there should be sth and you just change from there. IT IS LOGIC that the website can allow you to change. (Shock no. 2)
Mi: (piss off) so you telling mi you are not sure of how to do it and you do not have a computer now to see your website?
Carol: ya, i do not have.
Mi: then nvm
I ended the call.... Without saying THANK YOU to her. LOGIC, What is logic? The tone of her voices sounds unwilling to help....
End up i found the way to change, but this stupid system mention this:-
How can it be possible? I have not lengthing the stay but shorthen it. Stupid system.
So i call the Orchard Hotel again... ...
Mi: Hello, can you put mi thr reservation, but i do not want to speck to Carol again.
Reservation person 2: ok
Lorita: Hello, Lorita speaking how can i help you.
Mi: describe to her the case for the third time.
Lorita: ok hold on
Mi: (a few mins pass)
Lorita: sorry to keep you waiting, my system is slow
Mi: its ok, no problem
....
....
....
Lorita: ok, i can help you to make a change, but you have to change it in our system
Mi: but your system do not allow mi to change it, not i do not want to do it. You understand. So since you telling mi that you change it in your system, can you fax a confirmation to me?
Lorita: we are nt able to do so but i will let the frontdesk know about it.
Mi: ok, so maybe i can email you and you acknowledge back and i will printscreen to show you the msg i get from your system.
Lorita: ok
Mi: Another issue is that, i found out the confirmation letter that i print out after confirming the stay has a INVALID PHONE NO. Can you make note to your followinf dept.
Lorita: ok. (Sounds sian) (Shock no.3)
What ok??? This is my feedback and i am kind enough to make a note to your hotel. You treat it like nothing.
Can you imagine how many SHOCK i get from Orchard Hotel reservation just from a call.
I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY THERE....EVER EVER!

Sentosa Flower 2008
Have you all been to the Sentosa Flower?
This is my 2nd time going there but this year went on the last second day. Of course, there will be flower and "alive" flower to see. It become one of my new year trip to Sentosa to look at the flower as they have different themes. Got to warn everyone that it is very hot and remember to bring umbrella or apply MORE Sun protection lotion.
Those who love flowers or nature, will be addicted to the event. Give it a try next year. It will be held during the first day of new year and last for about 10 days.

Bye Bye - Zhenru and Nic

Sorry ZhenRu, can't make it to the airport on 11 Feb as having class at night but manage to catch up with U on 11 Feb afternoon. She arrive safe and sound at Aussie Australia today and in msn now! Feels like she is in Singapore.

Happy New Year 2008!!! Gong Xi Gong Xi
"Gong Xi Fa Cai" to all my friends and those who read my blog... New Year day is just tml... "Ang Bao" and more "Ang Bao" right, our extra bonus for those who are eligiable to take "ang bao".
Yesterday night was the last night for my nearby market at Hougang Ave 7 to have the new year market as the place will be tear down for other purpose. I remember every year i will went there to get my new year goods. But next year, the atmosphere is not there le. So took the opportunity to went down there at 10pm to have a look. There have alot of good and nice food... I will definiatly miss the food.
Last glimpse of the Hougang Ave 7 new year market...
