A Fruitful New Year...

Today is my thrid day back to office from my longest new year break....

I have 14 days of new year break... Wonderful? the first week is ok, but after that, getting bored.

But luckily, other than went to "pai lian", my mum and my cousin went to Sentosa flower, Singapore Zoo with ede and TK, Toss "Yu Sheng" on "Chu Qi" at Suntec City.

As usual, we gather together at my GM house on "Chu Yi"....

29 Jan: Sentosa Flower - 3 year visit

I think it will become my annual outing. I loving it. My mum and mi reach there about 5.30pm and we start walking while waiting for my cousin and their family.

As the night falls... I am still there...Haha

30 Jan: Back to school - SGSS

Very sudden decision. Meet lots of teachers. After that went to Zoo de entrance.... Ede and Mi had our Ben & Jerry Icecream which is melting real fast... Lick, lick, lick.

Not satisfied by touring only at the entrance. We decided to make a trip asap with TK joining us.

With Miss Liao, My Chinese teacher for Sec 4 and also followed by Miss Tan, my Chemistry and form teacher.

1 Feb: Happy Birthday to Everyone. Today is "Chu Qi", very fortunate to join Suyin and her family to toss "Yu Sheng".

3 Feb: Msg ede on sun to check with her when she like to go Zoo, also msg TK to see whether she can take leave. Finally all agreed to go on tues (3 Feb) afternoon.

Before going in, ede sing a song: "We are going to the zoo zoo zoo, how about you you you, you can come too too too, we are going to the zoo zoo zoo". Does it bring back any memories?

Reach zoo at about 2.30pm. Weather is good. The last time i went to is last year april. Looks like i am a very loyal supportor and visitor of Singapore Zoo... As for ede and TK, they have not been there since many many years ago. Our Singapore Zoo change alot so everything to them seems very fresh and excited.

The latest attraction is the Rainforest KidsWorld, first time went there. There is a water playground.

Now in office, waiting to go for our CNY lunch with our co. customer, supplier and friends. Then knock off till 1st Feb and start work on monday. One full week of break!

Been the Chinatown and buy some new year decoration. And my mum buy ying liu on tues. Waiting for the final decoration maybe on sat or sun.

Another year has pass and this year is a challenging and difficult year cos of economic downturn. Things are really moving slowly, same for my company and ppl are talking about how can they stay on to their job.

As mention eariler, went to JB, Kluang to do my hair. Preparing my new year look!

A lousy day

I had a lousy day today and also last week... ... Due to my work! I admit is part of my mistake.

I think this is the second time i blog about the my work about the same issue.

I admit that sometimes i am a careless person especially coming to numbers. From young, my mum actually told me that it took her quite some time for her to teach me maths. That's why i cannot take accounting. Different people are specialise in different area. Anyway that is also not my interest.

Don be mistaken i am a accountant, i am just an admin. But at my office i have to handle all this. Tml will be another tiring day as the accountant will be in and all this issue will be raise.

Wanting called. Tell her about it... Feeling more ok... Ultimatly, she and the few others also told me to leave my job, not becos of this, cos what for i stay on and wasted my degree. That's is their point. Yes, no matter what i had to go, only sooner or later.

I think school makes me happier... Although there is project and datelines to meet.

Unexpected Melaka trip on 27 Oct 2008

I/We did not plan to go anywhere... Just wanna to be together and also to find my craving for A&W. (website: www.rootbeer.com.my)

So we slowly heading towards Melaka. Rest at "Wu Fu Cheng" to have lunch... "Lao Chen" kiao tiew mee, old coffee shop environment. Simple yet nice food.

Suggested that we eat "Ping Pong" Chicken rice later and also A&W and we did it. Reach Melaka at about 3.00pm. Lost in the street but manage to find our way. Pretty excited as i read about the Melaka "Red House" and i long wanted to go. Park our car and then heading to the chicken rice stall. The very first chicken rice stall beside OCBC was close for the day, selling fast. So we have to go to the other stall where you will see those big billboard along the expressway.

The street is full of ppl and street stall selling items goodies. Didn't manage to shop as no time and also too crowded. But just sit on the car and pass by all the places.

Our next destination, Melaka. It is not a small place. There are at least 2 mege shopping malls and not to forget all those shop houses. Agreed to stay at Equatorial hotel Melaka for our trip.

Travel further up to have my craving for A&W.... second time in a year i had it. But this time the food tast nicely as what he said. We had one double root beer float and 2 curly fries. It was great. Not to worry, if want to eat Johor also has it.

My farewell attachment lunch was at this place. Can you imagine that... ... We seat there for almost 3 hours during my last day of work.

It bring back memories... ... Went there yesterday again. All the way to TUAS. Beautiful and peaceful environment. Set meals and ala carta not very expensive. It is price the same as what you pay for a western meal. Hard to go w/o a car.

I love to take a walk after the food and facing the sea with all those yachts along the pier.

The wind is gentle and stars shinning brightly in the middle of the dark night.

Everything is so peaceful with you.

This is the longest break that i had stop blogging.

Just started school, so a bit busy and work also busy.

Yesterday, 2 new engineering guys just came and join us. Not used to have so many people in my office. I am surrounded by guys...Haha.

Talking about my lecturer, really shit loh except Marketing research lecturer as she has taught us before and also the subject. Therefore, she has indepth knowledge of how the subject should be taught and the assignment requirement.

The other 2... sian... That Mr. Maa maa, cos his Surname is Woo = sheep... totally gone case de loh. Specialize in IT stuff and teaching us strategic mgt, poor example or NO example given and keep saying: class do you have any example. In my mind or in everyone mind, i/we thinking, if i know that i won't be sitting here and listen to you le. What for i pay you to lecture us... Of course, complain letter or a nice work to say is FEEDBACK is submitted by one of our classmate which is pro in writting this...haha... Today is Mr. MaaMaa class again. 3rd lesson and see the second feedback letter to our coordinator. This one is really hopeless.

Another one, Mr. XXX, taught us tourism mgt. I feel he is better. He is blur cos he find no help in the first few weeks as the unit coordinator who is handling us just quit suddenly. Out of a sudden and she is gone. Stress, really stress and the job is really demanding. Of course, you see our class, complain here and there...

But really, i am wondering how Murdoch uni evaluate and empoly those lecturer... YES< listen carefully, all lecturer are pick and choose by MURDOCH Uni. Poor Allocation. How can you put someone who is good in that and ask him or her to come and taught this. WE, Student do not hope to write all those feedback. BUT WE ARE LEFT with no choice. If we are kind to them then we are cruel to ourselve. WE PAID to STUDY and it is not cheap.

Yesterday first day of class - strategic management. I think the lecturer cant make it... Keep i think here and there and can you give me some example.

Hey, i really wanted to tell him, we are here to learn, if we know then come to class for what. Sian. All example he take from the TB. Faint.

Worst, he specialist in IT stuff... all those DOT COM stuff he is expert in it. WHAT THE HELL is APMI doing. Sending or engaging the wrong capacbility to teach the module.

Was tired today.

But happy that i CLEAR the last trimester exam.

P/S: i made the decision last night to end everything. I know that i can live w/o you.

Today is ready first of sept. Times flies...4 more months coming to the end of the year.

Another 4 more month i will be able to complete my degree program...Heehee. Waiting for that very long le. School start today.

The weather today is gloomy. So peaceful.

Lantern festival fall this month, planning to buy mooncake le. Still deciding which hotel monncake should i get. Marriott or Four Season hotel.

Hmm, this sat Ngee Ann is having Alumni gathering, i am surprise that TK is going but she will be joinin her own class ba. So i am with Weishi. Excited to revisit the school. Never went back after i graduate. Looking foward to post photos. (yes, i know that i long long time did not do that le)

Also, my one and only bro turns 21 this month. Having a BBQ and inviting all aunties. I love to have such an event.

My initial, TLC. Wonder has my mum and dad thought of that when giving me that name. Yes, receive TLC from my bosses and customer.

I can say i am very lucky to have 2 very good bosses. Willing to teach me and explain things that i do not know. Did not give me any face or have that bossy attitude. Wonder how they look like? Picture taken on my 21st birthday with my "big boss(the one in white) family" and young boss (the one in blue). My birthday cake was a gift from them.
Very sweet of them!

Hmm, talking about TLC from my customer. Basically, not very hard to deal with them, all very nice people except some which they find trouble for mi. Yesterday receive a box of "dou san bin" from Penang.

***Happy*** At least my cutsomer or whoever brought that "you xin" le. Also, sometimes, chocolates from US, fruits from China. I misses the big, red and sweet lychee.

Grateful for all the tender loving care you all have created for mi! Small action means a lot to me. I am not a greedy person so don give me big stuff. Heehee

But mood for this few days or past 1 week not very good. Being disturb by someone who i do not wish to see and hear from. Keep coming to my office and pretend to act pity. Hopes everything will be over real soon. Keep calming myself down but when see that someone makes my blood boil.

EXAM Over...finally

Finally... MY exam is over loh... Very happy.

Sat and Sunday morning sit in front of my TV... the feeling is so shiok.

Meet up with TK on Sunday for shopping. Went to Chinatown.

Now my perception towards Chinatown change. The things sold there are not cheap loh. I mean the clothes. But still can find some good and unique stuff. Brought a skirt, very UNIQUE. Show you all when i wear it. Actually i saw someone wear it and find it is very special but did not look for it till saw it yesterday. Good stuff from Chinatown.

Then take a bus to Anchor point. Disappointed with Charles and Keith outlet. The design is ok but DON't Have your size. Poor sales guy, see him telling among every customer that this show does not have the size. STUPID loh. So disappointed. I like charles and keith shoes but nowdays getting very expensive. Inflation? Haha.

Gotta enjoy my 2 weeks of hoilday and focus on my work.

Today is 08/08/2008, memorable and auspicious number for the Chinese...(doesn't matter to mi)

So today lots of events are happen...

1) Opening Cermony for Olympics in China start at 08/08/08, 8.88pm. Wow!!!

2) Our Singapore Pools - Toto is awarding 8 million to the winner... Small business to them as they will be collecting alot more times of the bets from Singaporeans.

3) Think will have lots of ppl registering at the Registry of Married. Again, it belongs to the two person, why share this special dates with so many couple.

4) Also, giving birth by operation! Aiyo, health is more important ba, why force the baby out when the baby is not ready. What kind of parents are you. And also, so many baby born, HOW UNIQUE ARE YOU?

5) Lastly, Hybrid cars opening ceremony at OPEL Showroom. How i know? Of course my office overlook the showroom and they are sharing the showroom with OPEL. REALLY HUGE CARS... Got chance then take a pic...Paiseh loh, there got sales person...Heehee.

Yes, i going to do so. Work load increase and i am tried of doing it. Really cant finish. And i am the only one! Poor mi.

Time to move to another company.

Company get richer and workers getting poorer. So try out another company, meet new people.

So my next year goal - diversify myself after i graduate. Now my status is different, i am a degree holder. And i think my current position do not need a degree holder to do it. Going to tell my boss about it.

Last weekend is great...

Met up with Ede on Friday and went to Giffra to chill. TK had to go off cos sat she has to work. So after shopping they waited for mi. (had class on that night)

10pm, i am release. Persuade TK to stay but she insist that she can't.

Surprise... Our SistaShip Chain. The 3 of us have it. Mine is pink and theirs is white... Haha, i am so special. Love it. We have something in common loh.

When walking to Giffra, meet a sasuage dog, so cute... Ede mei is afraid of dogs...

Reach Giffra. I think they did not have enough staff. We have to approach the staff to get our seats.

Look at the menu for quite a long time. Don't know what to drink cos it does not descript what the drinks contain. Ask the cute boy to introduce. Mi tried Bloody Mary. Will be nice with more lemon given to mi. Haha. Warm service given by him. Haha, he still mention of we don like the drink we can change it.

Also ordered Nachos. It is soft and not crispy. So ask for a change. Hmm, better for the second plate.

Again, rush to catch our last train back.

Sleep at 1am.

Wake up at 8.30am. No mood to do my project. Got a sms from Suying asking whether wanna to go to her hse. OK loh, we plan to go and cycle and fly kite but 4th aunt did not bring the kites.

It was fun. We cycle from start till the end and to downstown east.

Have you ever wonder why the creator create blogs and what is the main reason behind it?

I think the MAIN reason is to let ppl write their feelings or diary on it. But now it turns into a place or space for ppl to compete with each other, bad comment is written and negative feedback is given... Just to have a higher view rate and create a BIG HOO HA!

Sad to say that...I think those who view other ppl blog will have an idea who am i talking about. I am not going to mention their name as no need to create any publicity for them.

My view is: Mind your own business... Why write all those things... Who wins and who lose? It is just a laughing story if you are the one who create it and in the end Lose the battle.

Why have to bother about other people? Just write your own stuff. If viewer like it they will view it, if not, somewhere someone will read it.

THIS IS MY BLOG, and i am only concentrating and interested on my own matters and sharing it with others. For those that i have bad comments with, is those that i personally experience it.

This is my view - Take it, accept it, digest it or left it!!!

Poor customer service - Dell is the worse

Yes, i am using a Dell laptop and i purchase through calling them to get their advise. 2 years old laptop, still ok, no major problem.

The problem is the customer service today is sucks.... Worse that i can imagine. In todays competitive market, how can you give such a service, like "ai mai ai mai" that kind. Really, you can get it from the customer service personnel tone of voice.

Looking for a laptop to bundle with our product. So i call Dell, HP, Fujitsu, Toshiba and Acer. This is the sequence that i called. And the first laptop brand that comes to my evoke set is Dell and HP. Cos i am using dell in office and HP at home.

I tell you can vomit blood with Dell customer service. Till now, i did not receive a call from Dell.

What for asking so many of my details and information and spent time looking into their database for my records? Asking this and here. HELLO i need it urgently and ask a few question about your laptop. That's all... Why make mi answer all those question which your sales can do that as i need to have a quotation.
Stupid process and they can say this is their standard kind of service. I Faint. Give up. Not calling them. Anyway, my boss ask his dell friends to give a quo le. Stupid and irritating services.

HP IS THE BEST... No matter what problem i have and i need anything, they will response to me VERY FAST and their quality of service is very very good. I think everyone agrees to that if they ever contact HP.

So the ranking that i have now is:

1) HP the no. 1
2) Toshiba
3) Fujitsu
4) Acer

Celeration here and there... Cant get ticket to view the parade so have to watch it on TV.

After waiting for so long, public hoilday is finally here. 9 August falls on Sat, so maybe my company will close on friday! haha...wow 3 days hoilday loh. Maybe can plan to go somewhere. Oh mind, then i won be in Singapore. See first ba. Oh ya, cant go, cos got exam after National Day. My goodness. And also the ghost month is in August and this period ppl will prevent going out. Sian...

Next 2 weeks have to plan and tell mi boss that i am taking exam leave le...My schedule is so tight. Where got time for boyfriend.

My weekend is gone just like that... Sat woke up at 8am do project till 11am. Skip my rope and later went for school. After that project meeting. Went to Big Uncle house. Reach home at 9.30pm, watch tv till 11pm and zzzz...

Sunday, again woke up morning to do my project and ppt slides which the report need to send for Ivan to edit. My Sunday morning gone just like that. Manage to finish everything by 3pm... Take a rest, cant sleep... Went to Hougang mall to do my grocery and my dinner. Night time falls...

Boths days are gone just like that...

Edelina sms in the morning to ask whether want to chill... I am so tire up by schools days... This week 2 presentation. One is today for IMC and one on thurs IM.

It's Complicated

What is so complicated about in a relationship. I am really curious about the phase "It's complicated (TM)" in facebook and friendster.

Yes, in a relationship it can turn out to be complicated. It all depends on how you handle it loh. When things does not work out, you have to let go no matter how much you love him or her. Life has to move on, with or w/o him or her.Onces the feeling is gone, it is hard to have it back.

Someone told mi that complicated in this case can means either the person is having shakey relationship or just broke up and not ready to enter a new one... It's is true. I did not mean ther person did not put in effort. I think everyone did put in their best effort but the effort is not what the other party hope to receive.

Peopl are complicated and not relationship.

Happen to dine at Mussel Guys Restauarant at Vivo City.

As from the name, the resturant is expert in Mussel... haha... but i don eat it loh... So order their set meal that come with soup of the day and dessert.

Choose a baloney sit that facing Sentosa... Looking forward to the IR there and dreaming my workplace to be there and be part of IR...that is what i take my degree course for...

Qinyi first day of part time, which was recommended by mi. Simple and easy money job. Good pay too... I want to do it but cos of project and IM test today then got to stay home on weekends to study.

They had a early release which suppose to end at 7pm and meet at Bugis... in the end change plan to Vivo...

LG is having a roadshow there. The design of the phone was great but heard negative comments about it. Intend to buy one, but ...

Very hungry...want to find some chinese food e.g. crystal jade xiao long bao and la mian but don have. So end up in Mussel Guys.

Recently been hook on facebook and has added quite a number of application. Go try it out if you all do not have any account.

I think only online like facebook can fulfil my dream. Adopted my Golden Retriever - Cheeizer. That's is the name i going to give my pet dog if i have one... But my housing condition does not allow mi to have such a breed. Sad... But do you know what, i found some people have a husky and a big one in their flat. Cos that time just run into it at the corridge, give me a shock.

Ya, that day was friday the 13th. Did not notice that until one of my customer reminded mi.

Anyway, i do not believe in such things.

So excited to meet them. Long time we 3 did not meet le loh... But still keep in touch. I was late...so sorry. My office in Ubi and have to travel to chinatown and walk 2 bus stop then reach the central mall. (trying to save $, so walk loh) Hee hee.

We got a "open air" seat facing clarke quay... Nice weather. Settle our dinner at Mathanttan Resturant. TK pick the wrong dish...haha... but don know why they food that day was not too good. I think cos of too many ppl and the chef lose it concentration in preparing of the food ba... But always, the place is crowded.

Have a bit of chit chat...*conversation reserve for the 3 of us*

Then went to have a little drink...

Our creative director, Miss TK, look up at deco that was at clarke quay where all those block were and say sth that we would not think of... It make us laugh the whole night... Go and have a look, those white deco hanging between the piles of the BIG umbrella...(i don know what is it call loh)

Walk up and down don know where to visit. The lane was stuffy so i mention that i do not want to have a outside seat.

The decision is between The Clinic and Fashion Bar... Clinic only have outside seat, Fashion Bar they find it too posh... haha... So in the end, ended up in Kandi Bar. OK la... Not too many ppl.

A nice sat afternoon, sitting on my nicest sofa in my living room. Sudden an ads caught my eyes...

Royston Tan 陈子谦, our local movie producer introducing his production - 十二莲花, will be in cinema in August.

My first thought - Again... something related to Getai(the title of the movie is actually a Hokkein Song perform in Getai, It is a sad song)... In August, fall on the lunar 7th ghost month... 881 is not enough for him loh...

My goodness, he is targeting all those getai lovers...

The cast he is using i think should be somewhere here and there. Cant run away from 881 cast ba...

Getting a bit irritated. Although i watch Getai when i was young but now... hmm not really cos of time and they are a bit noisy if you are studying...And all i can remember is all those yellow jokes and it give me a sleazing image!
This is my personal opinion.

Not really look forward to such kind of movie.

881 to me is a big hoo ha, the review on tv is too "much"... To mi, a normal show/movie. Yes, i watch it but not in cinema but At my home on my LCD TV... Ads really plays a part to help attract those curious ppl to go and watch.

Looking forward to the next Big Hoo ha again.
But still i will show my support to all Singapore stuff!!!

Niks Maple Skin Clinic

Discover that some of the readers are using keywords such as Skin doctor, maple skin clinic etc and that is how they dicover my blog...

Not to advertise for the clinic, but the result are really good. I started going to to clinic in 27th feb. Of course, there was doubt on my mind.

My sista, TK went there and recommend the doctor to me. At first, my attitude was like really ma? so good? if later still remain the same, then how?

After about 3 weeks using the Niks product, show improvement.

After 4 months of using, i can say i am not afraid to walk out of my house w/o makeup. You can see from my KL photos, all without makeup.

The consultation is SGD20. But some of the product are expensive and it depend on what the doctor give to you. But i am thinking, for girls and ladies, who want to recover fast, spending a bit more is worth it. Am i correct?

A good doctor, Dr Ong, If you all are going check the website and the schedule as she may not be in the clinic.

A piece of good news, at my third visit (26 May), Dr Ong mention that i do not need to come and see her if necessary.!!! Haha... So happy.

My face is smoother now...although still have some "new comers" but with the product, i am confidence that it will get well and better.

Was queneing for my duck and roast meat rice thinking later got class and i will not feel hungry.

Hmmm... we complain about him... did an evaluation last week... and this is the outcome.

Last day in KL... Sad i got to leave and face all problem again...

Got a good seating place in the cafe for our breakfast, it is near to the window...haha

Had a fabulous breakfast...

Pack my things last night and check out at around 1030am. 10 mins Walk to Berjaya Time Square for shopping.

Their Indoor theme park... Scary coaster ride!!!

Cant imagine the clothes there are not really that expensive... Shops are like our far east plaza... Also a good shopping area for mi...

I found Wendy's Restaurant opening soon in Time Square...Haha, got to try next time.

Walk back to the hotel at 3.30pm. A bit tired.

Wait in the hotel lobby for the bus... Unpleasant incident... the bus uncle at about 4.10pm walk in and raise his voice: "why you all did not come out and see, the bus is park at the federal hotel there... here no parking space... and the whole bus (ppl from genting) waiting for you all..."
What de... the receipt show and told us to wait at the lobby and the agent when i book the ticket mention that the driver will come and look for us. IT IS NOT OUR FAULT.

Next, this driver also need to go to Sunway lagoon to pick up ppl. Again same story happen... the hotel that that mother and a child that stay cant be access by bus so they have to walk to a nearby one. So the bus driver actually stop at the nearby hotel and wait for them. So in the end the bus driver actually went to the roadside to pick up the mother and the child.

It is not like Genting where ppl know that we need to go down to the bus terminal to wait for the bus.!

I think all this stupid incident could be prevented. Firstly, the agent when we purchase the ticket should told us clearly were we drop and board the bus. And the attitude of the driver should not be so negative. It is your job. (The bus driver in his 60s is a malaysian) Although your job does not offer you a good pay (as he mention only S$100 per trip), you should not treat us liek that. No wonder no customer service.
BAD EXPERIENCE with 707 travel agent. I don think i will used them again for my travel to malaysia.

Raining here and there on the way to Sinagpore.

The bus driver stop at the KIM GUAN for us to take our late dinner at about 10pm. No mood to take dinner as has eaten my bread.
Someone ask:" so how long is the break"? Driver:" anytime you want, don scream and nag when you all see the time you reah Singapore"

You see this kind of answer... Bo bian!

A bit of jam... Reach Singapore custom at 12 midnight.

Driver:" where you all want to drop off? at queen terminal or golden mile" No one wnat to answer... we were really tired.
" Talk to you all, you all don want to open mouth right, then ok loh" In a very rude manner!

Take a bus and a cab back home...

Day 3 SIN-KL 310508

Today is the 3rd day in KL. Getting used to the life there... especially the traffic condition. Have to cross the road fast and the cars will not let you pass if you did not insist you want to cross over the road. But of course have to look out for them. Traffic jam will start every evening, I hate that.

So today we intend to take the train to KLCC for shopping and hoping to get the ticket up to the SkyBridge. It is free, but read from one of the brochure that only 1640 tickets will be issue out per day.

Wake up extremely early today, 6.30am. 2nd day of buffet breakfast, very crowded and we are assign to seat at the other hall... Food is cold.

Walk to Bukit Bintang KL Station to take the monorail and transfer at Dang Wangi to KLCC.

Puchase the one way ticket to Dang Wangi(RM1.20). They are still using those old ticket system to pass by the gate to the train... Haha.

Not too many people on the KL Monorail.

Thought that the next transfer will be near to the place where we drop.. but no, we have to walk for about 5 mins. Purchase the ticket again to reach KLCC station (RM1.30).

Reach KLCC at 9.45am. Shops not fully open. First thing to do is to find the counter that issue the ticket to skybridge visit. Ask 2 security guard then manage to find the place.

There is a sign saying: Tiicket has fully bring issue out! My heart drop. How can!!! But after wait for a while, the person issue the ticket again... Haha... glad that we waited. Time for the visit is schedule at 4.45pm...

Shopping time.... International Brand and only can do window shopping...

Outside the mall there is a park and fountain. Beauitful scenary.! The time was only 1.30pm. Still have a long way to go.

Before that, i found my favourite fast food ---- A&W, which is missing in Singapore. I Love it!!! Gotta eat that later.

Not hungry now. So decide to visit the KL Aquaria - RM 38. Abit heartbreak... It was near the convention hall and there is a book fair so a lot of kids and parents were there.

A Long quene... Waited for about 20 mins and get our ticket... (just to see what is inside and the differences between our underwater world and theirs). Conclusion: - Fishes are the same but their interior design and the atmosphere is fantastic... Their have sound effect e.g. thunder sound when we reach the rainforest area. Althought over all not very worth to visit. Cute Fishes....

The time was just nice. Wait a while at the stairs and leg was "sour"(tired). Beside it there is some time like a exhition hall that feature towers from different parts of the world and introduction the building and infrastructure of Petronas Twin Tower.

Excited when it is our turn.

Issue us a tag and first went in for a 10 mins 3D show on the company Petronas and the twin tower. Now then i know why is it called the Petronas cos it belongs to the company... Haha.

Next quene up to take the lift before that, have to have by the security scan gate.

There is a guide to bring us up. The speed of the lift is fast as what she explain. Have some hear block cos of the pressure.

The 41th floor. We only have 10 mins.

Times up and have to went down... Indeed a great experience.

Get a postcard from the gift shop of the night view of the Petronas. keep it as memory.

A&W time --- this is the best time we are waiting for.... Curly fries. We eat till very full.

The time is about 6.30pm and we take a train back. It was crowded at KLCC station.

Shopping at Sungei Wang Again. Buy a pair of shoes as my leg cant stand le... Also, get a pair of flat shoe for my mum. Tired, i know that tonight i will have a good nite sleep.

Back to the hotel... starting to shoot pics of the room and the sceneray.

Day 2 SIN-KL 300508

Wake up at 645am... cant sleep... Looking forward to today as has plan to take the hop on and off bus to tour around KL...

The morning scenary...

Buffet Breakfast, i like it!

Buy ticket at 9.45am and walk to the nearest HOP ON AND OFF busstopn at Bukit Bintang. Whether was good and i get to put on my lovely hat that i brought last night.

Excited.

First stop: - Went to national placce and took some photos...

Second stop: Drop off at the birdpark and when we trying to walk down the steps...Suyin sprain her foot as she miss the steps...My goodness! We did not walk into the birdpark as need entrance fees and also thinking that birds, are all the same.

Beside the birdpark, is the KL orchid garden. We went up there and suyin was limping... Beautiful scenery.

Third Stop: Jam on the way to the Eye On Malaysia. Bus journey ride was boring during the jam as there should be audio and visual tv on board but was down...
When i saw the ferry wheel, my first thinking was. IT IS SO SMALL!!! So in the end did not take the ride. Saw 3 couples in their wedding grown having their photoshoot! Lovely and sweet!

Suyin foot is badly injury and could hardly walk...

Fourth Stop: The KL Tower. Did not went up there as her foot was in bad shape and swollen. Haven eaten by then so hoping to get some food at the KL tower but only manage to buy 2 waffle. I have to wait for 30 mins... the malay girl selling this is so slow. I cant stand them... In the end, take a cab and went back to the hotel.

Suyin say used ICIY things to put on the swollen part will make it better. I doubt so... Any one have any good idea?

Sky is dark outside, thinking it will be raining later. After resting for 45 mins. I went out ALONE. Taking an umbrella along, And it rains.

Thinking where to go... since buy the ticket le, so went to Hop on the bus and tour ba... BUT i REGRET it... The whole bus journey is 4 hr 30 mins where i was told it was only about 2 hr 30 mins. Somemore, it is raining and cold on the bus... I am freezing... Think it is that time i got a cold... Very tired sitting so long...

One of the thing i cant stand in Msia is the traffic condition. Very Jam and the driver are taking their own sweet time. Also, the traffic light have to wait for so long before it turn GREEN.

Feeling sick on the bus.

Finally back to Bintang busstop at 930pm. Luckily i am not hungry. But still need to eat and Suyin is waiting for mi to buy dinner.

Went into Johnny's restorants which serve Thai food... they serve steamboat but no chance to eat loh...

Too tired and feeling angry to take photo...

End of the day...

Day 1 SIN-KL 290508

Wake up at 6.00am, so long did not wake up at this hour since when i'm in Secondary school.

Only starting to pack my bag yesterday night. It was heavy. Haha, so in the end did not bring all my cosmetic pouch. Only bring my liquid eye linear.

Mum help mi bring down my bag to the bus stop and take NEL to Little india. Meet suyin there. Had to takea another bus no. 170 to Queens street bus terminal but waited for so long. So took a cab instead. (S$2.80 + 1). Only a short journey, so the meter did not move.

Reach there find the 707 booth and being assign of our bus seating. haha. Only 5 person in one coach. Started our journey sharply at 8.00am.

Took some pictures on the way to the custom. We also have nice building. Our IR is coming up....

Saw Empty coaches at the custom going into Malaysia. Stuck at the custom for a little while. But good, clearing is very fast.

Feeling good leaving the country, all my trouble can put aside for the day.

6 hours journey... stopping at KIM GUAN to have our lunch. I eat nasi lemak, RM5. Not bad, they do the egg on the spot and the ikan biks is so fresh and crunchy.

Love the blue sky and green plants on the journey.

Reach KL TOL at about 1.00pm. Finally.

Staying at Royale Bintang Hotel along Bukkit Bintang - Shopping district area.

Check in at 2.00pm. Staying on the 14th Floor. The highest floor is 20th level - Club suite. The very first thing i do when reach the room is to draw the curtain. Wow i can see the KL tower and Petronas twin tower from my room. So great.

Had my shower. Sky was dark and it rains. Rest awhile and we went out to exlpore our nearby shopping area.

Feeling hungry, eat my early dinner at lemon food court at Low Yat Plaza - IT mall. Try the claypot and sizzling stall, the noodle too salty.

Nothing to shop. Left shortly after eating.

Next Sungei Wang Plaza. A Shoppping paradise. Anything you want you can find it here. Prices are not expensive and can get good deal. Something like our Far East Plaza. We spent quite a long time there. In the end, mi buy 4 pcs of clothes there.
Did not cover the whole mall as we will be returning there some other days.

So continue to walk up to LOT 10 - selling International Brands. Step in and we walk out le... manage to find the hop on and off bus stop where it will bring us around KL area. Planning to do it tml. Have to pay RM38 for unlimited ride for 1 day. Looking forward to that.

The time is 8.30pm. Still early to go back. So decide to shop at BB plaza. Found that BB plaza is link to Sungei Wang.... so in the end shop at Sungei wang again.

My Supper...KFC... Nice but oily, nice packaging.

Went back to our hotel at 10.30pm. Look out of the window. WOW, the towers are lighted up.

Tired but i cant sleep. Sleep for 2 hours and wake up at 2am. Look out of the window and the carpark below us is still fill with alot of cars. Take a panadol and went to sleep again.

I pass my Sustainable Tourism Module

Useless Subject... Talking about conservation, preservation of the natural environment, the impact of tourism, indigeous tourism....and blah blah blah...Where the hell you see it in Singapore. We are still not into it.

Ok for Austriala to talk about it and take it as their module, but for Singapore... How do we actually relate to it? We did not even feel it...

Anyway, it is OVER, My godness that i PASS. Maybe they Open and close one eye when they mark.

I am in the 3rd batch taking this module and from the previous group, this module has the highest failure rate... and they have to repeat the module if they fail. But hearing that for the next batch they are taking OUT this module. If not the same old story will repeat all over again.

1) Appeal for Service marketing exam.
Why they make appeal so difficult...need to fill in here and there... cant imagine that. (BTW, i taking having Australia Murdoch uni certificate) So troublesome.

2) Project
Already 3rd week of school and my group did not start on it yet. No mood loh. Very tired.

3) Stuipd IMC lecturer
Integrated Marketing communication is a very fun module but gone case with the way how this lecturer teach the class.
No HANDOUT, how are we able to follow. It is good that he show us slides from various MARCOM book and flash it in class. But how are we going to follow that. WE NOT ONLY WANT TO PASS BUT ALSO TO UNDERSTAND MORE OF IMC.
We are here to gain knowledge!!!

So Shiok... Lesson at Hoilday Inn Parkview just beside Kaplan. Nice Environment too... With Complimentary foolscape notes on every table, mineral water, Hoilday Inn pen, Sweets and outside the conference room there are drinks. Toilet are so Clean and nice smell.

Yesterday was my second time in Holiday Inn... More to come!

But lesson was bore, Our Integrated Marketing Communication lecturer make the lesson so bore... Just read from the slide and really "explain" from the slides...

My Favourite Family routine - Happy Mother's day 2008

Happy Mother's day to all mothers (my da yi, er yi, si yi, xiao yi) and my dear mother. And most importantly, OUR GRANDMA... without her, i and out cousin will not be born...haha

Wishing you all good health and HUAT ya... Thanks for all the TLC(tender, loving, care) you all have given to us and mi. I remember when i was young, my Da yi and Si yi really take care of mi... as my family was not well to do.

Some nice memorable that i had...

My Da Yi will buy mi clothes, really nice clothes. I still remember my mum keep telling mi that my Da Yi Zhang(4)buy mi a small little dress for my very first new year when i was 2 mths old. Yes, i was born on the January 6. So after i was born, 1 mth later was Chinese New Year!!! Then my cousin, suyin who was 3 years older, we tend to have the same kind of dresses but different colour loh. (Nowdays, ppl say we look alike, do we? haha, i don knw)

My Si yi will buy mi toys and sweets and things here and there. My very first softtoy that my Si Yi brought was a very colourful caterpillar. I think i still keep it, it is in my store room. Will find some days to dig out and put it on my blog.

So all those wonderful people and things really brighten up my childhood was happy and sweet.

I am proud to say, we have strong bonds amoung my mum and her sisters and brother and my cousin and mi. We are a big family and i love all those annual gathering.

Currently, our big family have 34 members.... And the figure might be growing, C who is our very first cousin who get married.

We will tend to meet now and then and visit our grandma. Although not everybody is here but when it comes to special occasion, WE WILL GATHER Together.

So for this year mother's day, we had agreed to gather at my Small uncle house for celebration. Each family prepare one kind of food.

So, for my family, we prepare chicken wings and cheng teng. 3kg of wings, surely not enough... Then we still have my Da Yi preparing jelly, curry vegetable, Si Yi preparing Popiah, Xiao Kim prepare all other things. Also additional food that we brought... See so much things.

We little children will buy a cake to share but this time, my Er yi say she will pay for it. A bit Paiseh. haha.

Wanted to take a group pics, but they very paiseh and it is really hard to gather everyone for a big photo.

Vesak Vibes In Chinatown - Light Up Ceremony

Been to Chinatown recently? Did you notice along the roads there are some decoration for the coming Vesak day on 19 May. Yup, it was lighted up on Saturday and i attended the light up session by Venerable Shi Fa Zhao and Joo Chiat MP, Mr. Chan Soo Sen.

Then later went into the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple to have a look. First time going in. But for people who want to go in, remember to wear sleeve top and pants or skirt need to be below knee as a form of respect. (Taking photo is limited)

Singapore Zoo

Hmm, my last visit was in 10 March 2007 with ZhenRu and Tricia. One year pass so quickly, and Zhenru now is in Australia and Tricia, lost contact with her. Thinking she is also busy with her studies ba.

26 April 2008 - Last paper

Think did not perform very well and higher chance to fail the module. Anyway, it is over and i have put in my very best le. This subject is known for the highest failer rate. Michelle, Kaplan classmates sms me at abt 4pm and asking whether at night got any date or not cos they going to have some gathering. OK, did join them. Venue:- New Asia Bar at Swissotel, Club 72. High till 3am then reach bach home. Scenery very nice up there. Able to the the Singapore Flyer but heard from them that the response is not very good and crowd is not there. have anyone of you been there? Share you experience with mi.

They went out for supper but i didn't. Tml morning, Zoo, so have to wake up pretty early.

Sleep for 4 hours.

Reach Zoo at abt 11am, feel that it is not so crowded not. Maybe the ticket is pretty expensive. $16.50 for adults, but i got 50% off for 5 adults. So bring my parents and ah ma to go.

I find that everytime i go to the zoo, there bound to have "the very first time". This is what i call experience.

Show you some intertesting pics and places with explanation.

The polar bear. Laying lazly there. The place is cool so rest there for our lunch. 1 pm is the token feeding so stop for it to watch it. "First time" to watch the token feeding. I thinking the polar bear knows his lunch time is there so some how like waiting here and there. We only have 2 polar bear, one male and the female is his mum. And the male one (forget his name) is born in Singapore Zoo, the very first polar bear to be born in the tropical. I am proud of it. Are you?

The Clock strike 1. The keeper is here. One on top of roof and one is standinf infront to give a little speech. See they band ppl from standing infront as it will block the view of ppl sitting. We are sitting in the last row.

First time see the ploar bear so active. The Zoo feed them with meat, fruits - watermelon and fishes. i remember is 15kg of meat daily and 3 "live" fish. They throw the fish and let the polar bear catch it. Isn't it interesting for the visitor to see but poor fish.

Capture the interesting photo, guess what the female polar bear are doing....

Shitting... Really, i saw it.

Next, saw a poor fox turning around and around his area.. POor Fox, alone...

1.25pm - Lion feeding time. Long long time did not manage to c the lion and lionness as they are hiding somewhere in their enclosure. Wow, we only have 1 lion and 4 lionness... He got 4 wives... Guys are you envy of him...haha. I think the lion like quite old le... wondering is it the one that i saw 19 years ago, i still got the pic. That is the first time i go to Zoo, when i was about 3 years old.

Beside the lions are the Giraff, one of my fav. animal. 3 of them. Isn't they elegant... Long legs and neck and walk gracfully.

Next, to the snake enclosure. Appear that ther are some token feeding. It feed the kind cobra with mice. Find it disgusting, no photo!

Then to the fragile forest. Where you can see animals e.g. duck, mouse deer walking, climbing e.g. some monkeys, but they not really monkey, hee hee don know what is it call and flying around e.g. Bats, butterfly and parrots. Saw the hanging birds pass urine. So funny, Wow is got alot of "Chai" that days...

Next, pass by Ah Meng Tomb. The Singapore Zoo Icon. Resting there in a very nice place. I told my mum that i did not c An meng, but she say yes, maybe when i was young...Think so ba, and at that time maybe i saw him but did not know he was Ah Meng. So this time round, saw him but....he is not alive.

Only a status build according to his size.

Saw also the penguins and the Mischievous sea seal, it was after the show and the seal was there to Kiss the visitor but they have to pay $5 to have that Kiss and take photo. Good business idea.

Just nice for the Elephant at Work Show. I like that area, very thailand feeling. First time seeing the show. Last for 30 mins, showcasing how strong those animals are. Visitor can also feed the elephants with fruits. $5 for a basket of fruits.

The time is 4.00 when we leave the elephant enclosure. We are close to the Kangeroo, and the token feeding is at 4pm... Miss it when we walk there. They also allow feeding but also pay loh.. Same $5 for half cup of some dry food.

Last but not least, THE WHITE Tiger. My Favourite animal of the Zoo.... They have blue eyes, wearing blue contact lens

3 white tigers. One sleeping, 2 in the water. Maybe too hot... cos selom see tigers soak in the water.... haha, they are having sauna.!!!

They have new toy, did you see the 2 container tight together...ya that is what i refer to as their new toy. The 2 white tiger loves it and fight for it. Intertesing.

See they are pulling, guess who wins....

The tiger on the left of the pic. The right one appear to be smaller in size.

The losing tiger later still went over to snatch the toy, but the winner tiger knows it and later chase the losing one into the water again. That is what i know till i left the place. Hate to go... Will come again...

As usual, Ben and Jerry Icecream - this time, strawberry cheesecake. I love it.

Haha, wondering i why i can still blogging now right...cos of time management. Plan and allocate time for each day and follow it strictly, is my secret weapon to able to have enough rest time, surfing the net and watching movies and show online...

Niks Maple Clinic 1

Rush down yesterday after work to the clinic.

The quene has started. Reach there at 6.20pm so have to wait. At 7.00pm, the staff came and open the door... Counted the ppl. I am in No. 37, consider lucky as if Dr Ong only see about 40 patient. For your information, i estimated how many patient Dr Ong will be seeing per hour... and the outcome is: 6 patient in one hour. So this prove that, money cant buy everything.

Take my no. and went back home. Tired... Exam is coming so go home to write my notes.

I estimated that at 10.30pm able to see Dr Ong. At 10pm, take a bus. Reach at 10.30pm. Only number 30. 5 more ppl (cos ticket number jump for FengShui)

Only went in to see her at 11.15pm. Can you imagine that, telling ppl that you see a skin doctor at such a late night. But that is normal!!! There is still 3 or 4 ppl out there waiting for her...

My skin is improving! That is the important part.

Last Service Marketing Class 10/04/08

Some kind soul buy a cake from Shatec to SM class. Then we sing a birthday song since Samuel mention that his Birthday falls on 1th of April and he is "25" years old...Haha, of course we know it is not true.

I think the meaning of the cake is not just to celebrate his birthday but more for thanking him for all the help and "tips" he given to us. Although he did not teach us for other marketing modules, he offer his help by letting him know if we need additional lecture note for our other modules. See where to find such a lecturer.

Crystal Optics Again....Haha

Contact Lens solution finishing soon and specs will be ready on Sunday (13/4/08). Using Complete solution, so wanting to buy a small bottle so if next week start to wear specs then will not waste the solution and Money.

Went to Hougang Mall Again, Crystal Optics... Henry....Mention my situtation, he find a new small bottle of Complete solution. "How Much"? He give me a expression, Wanting to exchange for my phone as i was holding to it. Haha... Then Walk me out of the shop, Solution FOC...

Looks like luck is on me...

Get my salary review letter from My boss yesterday... GOOD News!!! Pay Increase. In the same company for 2 years after graduate 3 weeks from NP.

Good Customer Service - *** Crystal Optics (2001) Pte Ltd @ Hougang Mall Level 2

This is what i called good customer service and building long term relationship with customer.

Crystal Optics Shop was the one and only optics shop that i go to get my contact lens. I visit them on 2005 to get my very first pair of contact lens.
This guy, Henry, actually taught my how to wear contact lens. A young, funny and playful guy which like to make me laugh and distress mi. A joker and make me feel comfortable.

I actually hate to walk into a Optics shop as You know the idea of Optics shop is those very strict and tend moments as you will feel a pinch after you buy something. And they will make you go though those test to test your eye.

But Crystal Optics is different. They provide warm services to every one whether you buy or don buy things. I actually saw this women with 2 kids walk in just to ask them to adjust their glasses. It was serve by Henry. Then later, this women seem very happy and THANK Henry. Henry return back with a BIG WELCOME which can be heard all over the place. Haha. Really, it is true!

On 23 March, i revisit them intend to get my 1 year supply of contact lens. At that point of time, i have red eyes and feeling uncomfortable during the end of the day with contact lens. So intend to let them have a check. The other guy, Jeffrey actually serve mi. He examine my eye and later advise mi that i should let my eyes rest for at least one week w/o contact. So i say ok. As at that point of time, my eyes really uncomfortable.

So after one week, back to my contact and i feel better.

On 6 April revisit them and spent about 1 hour there. This time approach Jeffery, but he still say still got a bit of redness. Then this henry, too free come to help. And i say: Hey, you teach me how to wear contact lens de loh... So he later took over the job and serve mi.

We went to the room where my eyes was examine and put "yellow" solution in my eye and later used yellow and blue light to test it. Not painful. Then later he rinse it with another solution to clean away the "yellow" solution. Show mi some picture... Then also test my specs, and found that the specs have problem.
Henry also take out 3 new pair of contact lens, FOC for mi to try out to c whether it is suitable and comfortable as my degree also increase. See, which optics shop will do that? Try new contact lens on your eyes. Later also supply one new pair as i pass them my frame for them to make the lens. The One Month O2 contact lens i am wearing now is FOC.

P/S: Don go "Spectacles Hut"and make your glasses and everything. Very expensive and inexperience.
Made a New pair of specs from Crystal Optics. S$380.00. Bo Bian.

Now, my only Optics shop i will visit is Crystal Optics. Die die will not go anywhere le.

Korea Strawberry

One of my Favourite fruits is Strawberry. I love it. Miss Cameron Highland Strawberry juice, really solid. The whole cup is fill with strawberry. Mi going there again. Planning to go on 30/4/08, reach there 1/5/08 and back to Sin on the 3/5/08. Anyone interested to join?

Price: S$ 280 nett include coach, staying at equtorial hotel, buffet breakfast at hotel and country trip. Give me a sms if you want to join me. A great place to relax and fresh air than Genting. genting is overcrowded le and too many man made infrastructure and TOO many people.

That day after class went to PS to shop for grocery. Korea Strawberry, it look so fresh, cute and nice to eat. 2 box for S$ 9.90, consider expensive, but first time trying. Back home, try it. Wow, taste good, it is not too sweet but the smell of strawberry is very strong. I think when i take bus home, the bus is fill with strawberry. I can smell it clearly.

But after that day, come of it turn moudly, so fast right. Have to throw away. Then next fews day, no time to eat and leave it in the fridge. Finally, almost half of the box throw into the rubbish bin. Wasted.

Jin Gang 90th Anniversary at Swissotel The Stamford

Morning, wake up at 6.30am to wash up and meet TK to visit Niks Maple Clinic.... In the end, we did not get to see her. Quene too long....we are the no. 30 something patient. So, in the end eat Breakfast at McDonald and went back home sleep.

Being honour to be invited to the celebration on 22 March 2008...

Guest of Honor - Senior Minister Mentor, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. Was excited as able to hear his speech live. Too many security, so not able to face to face but thank goodness to the big screen. Bo Bian, take pics on the big screen. Better than nothing

Food serve - Average, poor.

Like to go to such functions, as i can put on my pretty dress and get the feel....Haha.

Fantastic, lovely show, although we seated far away from the stage... Suyin bring a super camera which can zoom and pics taken are Clear.

Things sold there are really expensive. But as usual, brought my Collectable book @ 17 Dollar. Last 2 years selling at 20 dollar. But of course got different loh....Book thinner.

Why i buy for....my personal collectorable item and for memorable loh.... Every year is different ma...

Skin Doctor - Niks Maple Clinic

Have you ever wonder how "profitable" a skin doctor can earn a day... ?

I went to see a skin doctor at Tampines yesterday night. Recommended by Tzi Khee. She warn me of the crowd i will see at the clinic. True enough, there is a quene even the clinic was close from 4.30pm to 7.00pm. Reach at about 6.50pm. And you guess, what is my q no. No. 30. Oh Mine God. (Shock 1)

(Shock 2) Luckily TK warm mi that i need to wait for very long, really very long... The time i c a doctor, Dr Ong was 10.30PM. Not kidding.... Really i waited... "Bo bian"

Wondering what so amazing about the doctor? or the medication or those facial product?

I paid S$ 145.50 for the first trip. Got to go there 3 weeks later. So last night mention to TK that next time we go together in the early morning so we won't get bore.

After my number 30, there is still 4 people. If your count the no. of ppl who see her... 30 X S$100 = S$ 3000 exclude those who come and take/buy facial product. WOW.

Anyway, hope to see improvement on my face!!! That is the most important.

Before "luo hei" he still want us to say 4 letter word to him, if not CANT eat. He is just just joking.... haha.... Yes, and all of us say it.

Finally manage to get the softcopy of "Chu Yi" photo taken at GM house from Suyin. Met her on last sat to develop photo at Rivervale Mall(Somewhere near SengKang)... The shop auntie very "concern" about how we used the machine and keep asking my cousin to hurry up. But, THERE IS NO ONE Quenuing and we have 1 thumbdrive and 3 CDs. Strange...

So i return with a email after knowing that it is the service personnel fault that they did not know the restriction and make a mess of my call:

Dear Linda,

Thank you for your confirmation.

This is the first time i put my guest in Orchard Hotel, but i have unpleasant experience of how the reservation personnel handle my call.

As you have indicate in below email, i could not make any amendments from the website. I spoke with Miss Carol in my first call, and she insist that she could not do anything at her side to help me shorthen my guest stay. Reasons is because i make the reservation online. And she insist that i could make the amendment on the website. She seems unhelpful when i ask her where can i make the changes as she could not do it at her side. She mention to me that i could change it as it is very "logical" for me to find the link. I believe this restriction is made known to every person in the reservation dept.

As i could not get the things done, i contact reservation again and spoke
with Lorita. She help me make the changes at her side but also want me to make the changes online. I did mention to her my difficulties and attach a printscreen for her reference.

I am not please by how the two reserveration personnel handle my call and
are unhelpful. I hope that this is not the kind of service my guest will receive when he visit the hotel. Kindly look into it.

Guys, can you let me know or what you think when i tell you that i am putting my guest at Orchard Hotel Singapore... I believe, there will be WOW kind of expression right. It is a 4 to 5 star hotel. This is what i believe so till today. I am shock by how the reservation answering my question! I call twice.

Mi: Hello, is that Carol. ( then mention the case over to her again)

Carol: Oh, i could not help you to do the change if you book online. You have to do it yourself. (Shock no.1)
Mi: so, how do i do it, i am now at your website. where do i go?
Carol: just go to the website, then there is a button
Mi: i am now at your website, can you let me know
Carol: there should be sth and you just change from there. IT IS LOGIC that the website can allow you to change. (Shock no. 2)
Mi: (piss off) so you telling mi you are not sure of how to do it and you do not have a computer now to see your website?
Carol: ya, i do not have.
Mi: then nvm

I ended the call.... Without saying THANK YOU to her. LOGIC, What is logic? The tone of her voices sounds unwilling to help....

End up i found the way to change, but this stupid system mention this:-

Mi: but your system do not allow mi to change it, not i do not want to do it. You understand. So since you telling mi that you change it in your system, can you fax a confirmation to me?
Lorita: we are nt able to do so but i will let the frontdesk know about it.
Mi: ok, so maybe i can email you and you acknowledge back and i will printscreen to show you the msg i get from your system.
Lorita: ok

Mi: Another issue is that, i found out the confirmation letter that i print out after confirming the stay has a INVALID PHONE NO. Can you make note to your followinf dept.
Lorita: ok. (Sounds sian) (Shock no.3)

What ok??? This is my feedback and i am kind enough to make a note to your hotel. You treat it like nothing.

Can you imagine how many SHOCK i get from Orchard Hotel reservation just from a call.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY THERE....EVER EVER!

Sentosa Flower 2008

Have you all been to the Sentosa Flower?

This is my 2nd time going there but this year went on the last second day. Of course, there will be flower and "alive" flower to see. It become one of my new year trip to Sentosa to look at the flower as they have different themes. Got to warn everyone that it is very hot and remember to bring umbrella or apply MORE Sun protection lotion.

Those who love flowers or nature, will be addicted to the event. Give it a try next year. It will be held during the first day of new year and last for about 10 days.

"Gong Xi Fa Cai" to all my friends and those who read my blog... New Year day is just tml... "Ang Bao" and more "Ang Bao" right, our extra bonus for those who are eligiable to take "ang bao".

Yesterday night was the last night for my nearby market at Hougang Ave 7 to have the new year market as the place will be tear down for other purpose. I remember every year i will went there to get my new year goods. But next year, the atmosphere is not there le. So took the opportunity to went down there at 10pm to have a look. There have alot of good and nice food... I will definiatly miss the food.

Chinatown Trip

Have you been to Chinatown le ma? I went there yesterday after my work with my mum. Just to buy some new year deco and c c got anything to buy or not. Luckily not that crowded. Alot of stalls, selling almost similar things loh...but price differ especially for the decoration stuff. So need to ask around to get the best deal and of course can ask " lao ban, ge yi bian yi ma" hee....cutting price....and some of them did.

I brought an unexpected deco.... Disney Mickey's family " Gong xi fa cai" I tell you this is very rare. After walking for so long, only saw that shop got sell. Let you all have a peak of the deco i took at the shop! When saw it, i immediate scream for my mum and come and have a look. The young owner also come and introduce the display. I love disney stuff....oh ya disney on year is coming on this March school hoilday, selling the tickets at sistic now, Anyone want to watch? Let go together!

Saturday Shopping Trip and Steamboat gathering

Saturday finally manage to find some time for shopping. Setter my "Chu yi" clothes. "Chu er" still half way setter, still looking for my bottoms. Pics of my new year clothes will show after new year... But still lots of things not buy yet....Hmmm like...undergarment loh, must also be NEW!!! Think will also buy one more set of clothes to wear just in case i am meeting the same relative on other day.

This week end is the last weekend to do the new year shopping but sat have to go on a field trip to Sungei Buloh for Sustainable Tourism project... Luckily is in the early morning.

Shopping with Edelina, my youngest sista and one of my shopping mates. Also, receive my second part of my Bday present from BKK. This year very special, the present are all from overseas. Thank You Tzi Khee mei and Edelina mei for your effort.

Saturday a bit rush for shopping as i have to rush to my second appointment with my POLY classmate. Eating Steamboat at "Tian Tian huo guo". But food not very nice... and quite expensive (cos of branding).

A memorable gathering as 2 of our friend, Nic Tan and ZhenRu is going off on CNY to further their study in Australia. Will MISS Them especially ZhenRu. I mention to Zhenru that i will MISS her loh... and she laugh in Msn. She is a very good friend and buddy that is very calm and be my hearing ear when i have any problem. Also, chat with mi when i am bore at work. I feel that she is one of my friend that i can tell her everything.

Story Not Ended!!! MyPaper show my contribution on the paper and of course the photo that i took but delete off the printing company that distribute the calendar.

Media Development Authority of Singapore is invertigating the matter! Hope they can control this type of picture.
And the SPOKEMEN from the printing company, is not telling the truth loh... only want to protect himself... how can you say is your customer who request for it. So that means you die die MUST print such calendar? Is your choice to print or not to print. Am i correct?
Also, from the report, how can you say: "he obtain the calendar from the agent and merely added his company stamp on it! Shocking words. Company image....???

Keep on a look out on this news for mi... I really want to know what measures MDA took! Thank You.

Things to do during the weekend......

Hmm, new year is coming! About 1 month time, and outside shop are selling new year cookies and tabits le loh.

So tml we are making my hse very traditional cookies - "bee hives" (with post pics for those who do not know). Outside bakery shop is selling but i prefer making it ourself as you don know how "clean" the place is when making those cookies.

School is starting on monday so afraid the following weekends have to rush for project so better do it before school start to play safe.

Next monday, one of my cousin having her wedding, i brought a light purple dress... Like it! So this sunday, she is giving out cakes to relatives at her house. But not intend to go as next sat i am having my final exam for trimeter 1. Therefore spent sunday time to study and wednesday Sameul is conducting a revision lecture just for us.

Today have to go Kaplan to pay my 3rd installment fees... $5,250... ...Money gone!

P/S: Pictures of the making of the "bee hives" cookies in next post but receipt will be guided....haha, maybe i can consider selling the cookies per pieces. Anyone want to order?!

This incident I MUST MUST SAY IT OUT....

Sat, Having a mini bbq gathering at Suyin hse. Suyin, my cousin called CITY SATAY to order some food for BBQ. The staff told her that the delivey time for Pasir is 2pm to 6pm. ( I think the length of timing is too long). So ok nvm. Wait till 6pm, we are ready to bbq and the pit is already set up. We brought some food so we bbq it first while waiting for CITY SATAY.

The person is LATE! We call the stupid number but no one pick up the call! We were so anxious. And Finally we discuss that if the delivery is not here at 7pm, we will reject the order and buy stuff at Supermarket. At 0653, a guy called, i pick up the phone, and say:" Wow you all finally call" That guy mention he is now at downtown East and coming here le cos the delivery van has broke down. So i direct him to my place.

When he came, Suyin and me went to the door. But we demand for a discount but we are not angry at that moment, only in joking mood. That very young man, driving a white car, Plate no: 1182, say he is ONLY the STAFF of the company and have not authority to give discount, and say if you all don't want the food he can take it back. Without waiting for our answer, he put the food back to his car and just drive off. So XXXXX.... It is what i call BAD SERVICE!!! How dare he do it and tarish his company name. ( We guess he may be the somebody in the co. or else he won't dare to do this) OFF YOU GO, CITY SATAY.... our family has blackmark you!!!

IT IS REAL INCIDENT!!!

I hate this job, as all those singer wear till so "less" and he has to accompany them here and there, including supper. So that month i hardly see him.

21st bday coming and having a chalet.... so spent time planning for my very first BIG day.

When to SG Bridal House in Msia and have a makeover. First time, very excited. Very tired the whole day( from morning 9am to back home at 12am) but a fruitful, memorable and sweet. ( Cant imagine i can look like that)
